Mom is sick. She has fever since Sunday. I have to look after and take good care of her after office, so I decided to just invite Yobs to sleep over at our house. On our 21st monthsary.
This circumstance was, indeed, a blessing in disguise. Yobs and I didn’t have to spend to eat out tonight. In fact, we were surprised knowing that Mom cooked for us, even if she’s not feeling well. Yobs loved Mom’s miswa soup with patola and buttered shrimps so much that he almost emptied the serving plates. Of course, I also enjoyed the food—nothing’s better than Mom’s dishes, especially when you’re sharing it with the one you love. Teehee.
Also, Yobs and I had the chance to be alone by ourselves all night. Mom had to accommodate some visitors at the veranda, while we, the couple, stayed in my room. It was a night of bonding, sharing stories, laughing, and hugging. It was the simplest of all our monthsary celebrations, and yet it meant so much.
I really thank God for giving me such a wonderful boyfriend, and a kind and loving Mom, too. I am so blessed.

Happy 21st monthsary Nicely and Yobs! You’re so sweet talaga for being such a great daughter and such a loving girlfriend too. May God bless you more.
I hope your mom feels better these days. This post not only made me miss my dad’s patola and miswa dish but my mom too. *sniff sniff*
Now ko lang nabasa ang comment mo, Sexy Nomad. Bigla tuloy gusto ko ulit ng miswa with patola ni Mommy. Thanks, Jen.
A chance to be alone, a chance to be lovey-dovey! Oh sige, kayo na. Happy 21st monthsary, guys! Stay in love!
Hahaha! Ikaw talaga, Superf. ♥ Salamat sa pagbisita.
